Vivian (Viveronski)
Vivian is an Animator, Illustrator and Game Developer who was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design and has a BFA in animation. Vivian’s fascination in the process of bringing cartoons and animated films to life comes from her childhood imagination and place of comfort from this very same medium. Animation is the cause of Vivian’s inspiration and filled her adventurous spirit ever since she was a little kid. Bringing stories to life and sparking kids’ imaginations has always been one of her goals, and she strives to bring that goal to the next level by also making it a learning experience for children and their families. Vivian has won two first place awards at Bishop Watterson High School during their art show in 2019, has earned CCAD’s Scioto Mile scholarship, and was consistently on the President’s list throughout her college career. She currently works on commission-based work, directing a 2d animated short and Purrfect Employee, a VR office simulation! Outside of artwork, she enjoys gardening, taking care of animals, and spending time with her family.
Artist Statement
Cartoons and animation have always filled me with inspiration as a child, and I grew a passion for the art because of the creative worlds and concepts that I was exposed to in my early ages. As an animator, I strive to provide the same inspiration I acquired as a child and pass it on to generations to come. I work on After Effects, Photoshop, Procreate, and Toon Boom Harmony to not only make artwork and animation to help spark inspiration in children, but also to provide them a safe world for children to immerse themselves in and pushes them to apply the concepts that I convey in a fantasy world into their own, real lives. My goal is to use the medium of digital 2D animation to create an enticing world for younger audiences to be inspired by.
My work is not only to inspire generations to come, but also to build community. My work includes people of various backgrounds such as the inclusion of those in different minority groups and cultures. My stories involve important topics such as environmental issues, bigotry of all kinds, and even life and death. I desire to balance the exciting storytelling with the important subject matter to accurately educate people, primarily children, so that they become aware of them and apply their newfound knowledge in their own lives.
